Ken's (Kwhizz) Magnificent Marina Blue 66 SS !
 

Bruce.........I've been looking for a 66 SS Chevelle Convert for quite a while.......I spotted this one in a car corral at the Automotion Car Show in the Wisconsin Dells. It was as solid as they come with a decent paint job and more importantly, it was pretty much original.......I couldn't work out a deal with the guy who owned it at that time though.....so I passed on it and sort of forgot about it......

About a year later .......Bingo.....it shows up on Ebay......the person who bought it at the show now had it up for sale......but ......it didn't meet the reserve and didn't sell.......I waited a couple of days and e-mailed the seller and we worked out a deal on the car ...... I knew it was a decent rust free car that needed a lot of TLC in detailing, but when I took the Interior out for replacement I was in awe of the condition of the floor pans as they were completely free of even surface rust with all the factory primer and sealers in as delivered condition.......I spent the winter disassembling and detailing everything on the car getting it ready for the warm weather......other than a few Bumps in the road, it's been a very good car that will probably be with me forever............

I heard on that Muscle Car TV series that all '66 or maybe it was '67 Chevelles came standard with red lines... maybe it was Super Sports?
