Re: Baldwin/Motion Ariticles
The glory days. Too bad that V8 Vega was a one-legger! Jeff, can you enlarge the photo of the Baldwin dealership with the '66 or '67 Chevelle parked in front? Looks like a N96 mag-wheelcovered car.
Those guys hade it made. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif x 100 |
Re: Baldwin/Motion Ariticles
Those articles are great! I have a few of them in my library. I wonder if any of the Motion Vegas still exist today??

Re: Baldwin/Motion Ariticles
I recently spoke with Joel and he told me that he has not documented a single Vega.

Re: Baldwin/Motion Ariticles
I specifically mentioned that very car to Joel after he told me that he had never documented a Vega. He reiterated that he has not documented it or any other Vega. Check the write-up. It was sold at BJ around 90/91 and then Boyd C. owned it. It still might be a real car, but no one has gotten an authentication letter from Joel as of three weeks ago.

Re: Baldwin/Motion Ariticles
Could it have the orginal paperwork from when built thus no need for Joels paperwork?

Off Topic:
I was at a local swapmeet here Sunday @ 7AM. There was an Old Man selling old tools. Behind him sat a SUN Distributor machine, exactly like the one Young Joel is seen standing in front of. It had a SOLD sign on it,and he got $50.00. I offered him more but he said it was SOLD! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/shocked.gif |
Re: Baldwin/Motion Ariticles
I had emailed Brad about his "Motion" Vega a couple years ago, but never got a reply. Still a pretty neat car.
