Hello Ed,
Do you have some "in process" photos of the car you could post? Thanks, Sam |
Re: 1969 COPO Chevelle
Some before and in progress pictures would be great.

Re: 1969 COPO Chevelle
Are there any pictures of the car as found before restoration? What condition, etc.?

Now that is a baaaaad boy with those Cragar S/Ss and racing slicks stuffed into the rear wheel well. Nice stance. Triple black is killer. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif |
Re: 1969 COPO Chevelle
Those vintage pics are very cool. Do you have any idea what it ran as set up, back in the day?

I like the old photo with the tail light lens from the 1971 Barracuda showing. Since it's not blacked out it has to be a Barracuda and not a 'Cuda.

Re: 1969 COPO Chevelle
Is this the original body that came with the car?

[/ QUOTE ] In the ad on copo.com it reads: "Note: This COPO Chevelle had been raced its entire life, and very few original parts remained. Due to modifications that had been made for larger tires, a rear clip from a donor car was used during the restoration of this car to bring the Chevelle back to stock condition." |
Re: 1969 COPO Chevelle
Good point... Joe. However my questions still stand.

Re: 1969 COPO Chevelle
Mike,
Most of these cars were raced and modified and cut up. I just wanted to know how many orig. parts were left on the car. Does not sound like much is left of the orig. car? James |
Re: 1969 COPO Chevelle
I'm curious about this car because I come from Ohio and lived near Quaker City Dragaway in Canfield during the 70s and 80s. I remember seeing a lot of 69s that were modified
beyond stock appearance. James |
