[/ QUOTE ] Although they do look cool as heck in the above photos, pics really don't do those cars justice... if you like what you see above, you should see them in person. The gold Camaro was actually already "fully restored" by someone else when it came to them, it just wasn't up to SCW standards so it was totally taken apart to the bare shell and restored correctly, from bottom to top. The Nova has been an ongoing project for awhile now, and is a very cool documented 396/375 car sold new at Dana. I've seen these cars in person in various stages of completion and have to say it is the best SCW work to date. Amazing attention to detail. Come check 'em out at SCR8, as I'm sure they will both be there. Nice work Brian and Joe. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |
Re: Pittsburgh WoW
I agree with Joe. I was their 2 weeks ago working on my Yenko. Frank and Caleb Arone took me down to SCW to see the progrees on Caleb's COPO and was blown away seeing those cars in person. That is a SHOW in itself. Wish that I could have made it their this year. I will just have to wait to see them at Vette Fest. The "MOF" https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Re: Pittsburgh WoW
Rob,
Cool pictures! Do you know if these cars are doing the whole WoW circuit? The WoW show is coming to Phoenix on March 18-20...I'd like to see these cars in person, too! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif |
Re: Pittsburgh WoW
The WoW show started out terrible, The weather went from sunny and 40, to a miserable 6+ inch snow. Trailering both new cars for the first show in that weather was a challenge. But after we got there the pressure was off, but the ride home was "fun". This years show was very nice. There were lots of cool cars as always. There was a really wild display of Rat Rods on hand. I really liked their display as well. The custom stuff was the main focus of the show as with most WoW events, but there were some really trick rides from all over the country. The cars we really like are the Musclecars and there were some sweet restorations at the event. The orange GTO Judge RAIII car was decked out with the cool display. The 68 H/O was nice too. This was also the first time we had gotten to see Tom B's 68 COPO Camaro done. The last time I saw it was at a small Camaro event in Pittsburgh when I stumbled upon it. I am 100% sure the then owner had no idea what he had. The guys from CPRx, Chuck, Paul, Chucks son Kevin and Tom B all had a good time at the event. The car turned out great and it was so nice to see it turned back to the day TB first bought it. SCW and CPRx tossed around the idea of a Pittsburgh WoW special Super Car/Dealer Display for next year. I think with the cars we know and the ones that they can bring might make a very good dispaly since we are in Yenko's backyard. I met lots of people that had a connecton with Yenko and thats whats great about the Pittsburgh WoW show. Over all, I would have to say the weekend was really a fun time. I am beat this morning, three days of doing nothing kills you...BKH https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

I do promotions for a motorsports group here in Arizona, and I fully understand what you're talking about. It's hard to understand how tired you can get sitting around...kinda like long term visits to a hospital! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif Do you know if any of the cars shown in the pictures will be in Phoenix, or were they just shown at the Wow in Pittsburgh? |
Re: Pittsburgh WoW
Not sure what cars would travel your way. It seems that the WOW have different cars that travel in the different regions. For sure the gold cars will not be there. But we are going to Vette-Fest. Also the York US 30 and of course SCR8...BKH https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif
