was there ever any 1970 Yenko Novas produced in black with black vinyl tops ?

Although not a 1970 Yenko Deuce,nor a Black Vinyl,this from Charleys thread last year.

Although not the original color, nor a 70, heres a 69 that IS black, and IS from Yenko, and HAS a black vinyl top.

The yellow deuce that Mike Miller has did have a blk vinyl top put on at some point in its life, but did not come that way new. Schonye

I think Jim Parks had a picture of it when the top was still on. He showed it to me in Jefferson probably 15 yrs ago. S.

did any 70 Deuces have the side window bright trim? (around the door windows and 1/4 windows)

Yes, at least one that is currently owned by Jerry Albert. This car has the correct code on the trim tag to back up the moldings too. There is no logical reason for it, it appears to be a simple fluke. This car is neither the first or last car produced, nor is it the first/last gobi beige car, nor the first/last a/t car, just a fluke. There may be more, but at this time there is only one with the moldings. There is a picture of this car from 1971 when it was still beige, and it has the moldings.

Just one. A gobi beige Deuce now painted bright yellow. It also has the lower rocker panel trim.

I saw that one at the Supercar reunion this month. It was a neat car being flogged by a cool lady at the dragstrip.
