yenko deuce
Anybody here know about the real yenko deuce that just went on ebay!!!! its killer!!!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif
|
Re: yenko deuce
if its that why sell unless someone wants a fast $$$ in their pocket
|
Re: yenko deuce
|
Re: yenko deuce
what color is it? Just to lazy to go check i guess. But with as many that are popping up it will be interesting to see how high it goes for. Unless its a #1 car and that would be the exception and would have had to have no body repair

Re: yenko deuce
guys, that is my car. yes, i think she is one of the best...
|
Re: yenko deuce
Hey Pat,thats one hell of a car!! I was just kidding about being sick of it. im surprised you would sell that one!! Good luck!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif
|
Re: yenko deuce
That car is one of the best but unfortunately everybody and there mother have owned it.....hopefully it finds a stable home.
|
Re: yenko deuce
The bidding should be interesting...
|
Re: yenko deuce
The only reason I would consider selling that car if I owned it would be because it's too nice. How could you ever consider driving that thing? Unbelievably nice car but I'd prefer to have something I could drive without being afraid of messing it up. Not trying to say anything negative about the car, just the opposite, that is without question the nicest car I think I've seen. Good luck with the sale, I hope whoever buys it takes care of it.

Re: yenko deuce
Kind of like cars in Magazines can only look at them unless you own them and then again that tends to run its course also
|
Re: yenko deuce
No restored car is 'too nice' to be driven! They can always be cleaned, touched up, replated, etc... Your ROI is from spending time in the drivers' seat - driving. Somebody needs to bring it to the Pure Stock Drag Race. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif
This is a nice car, #'s match, very good date codes, and it's a popsicle color to boot! |
Re: yenko deuce
THE "RESERVE MET" BELL HAS RUNG... WOW! KP

Re: yenko deuce
Who is this Azuri1800 guy?? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif He bids on all high dollar cars but has never recieved 1 feedback. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Re: yenko deuce
I don't know who he is, but looks like he may have just gotten himself a HO Yenko Deuce! Think we can get him to Stanton?

Re: yenko deuce
I wouldn't be so sure he will buy the car Marlin. Ive seen him bid on alot of high dollar cars and has never won one. He's either has a crystal ball or balls the size of the ones in INDIANA JONES https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Re: yenko deuce

See Azuri1800 feedback -- 2 positives, 3 negatives, 2 bid retractions. And, for some reason, he just decided today to make his feedback 'Private'. |
Re: yenko deuce
E Bay sucks...feedback should never be private....
|
Re: yenko deuce
Maybe that guy's intentions should be verified, or his bids cancelled to see where things bounce down to.
Since the reserve was revealed, if someone else is serious, they'll know where to step up to. |
Re: yenko deuce
I'll tell you one thing Bob,he must watch this board!! Its a little funny that all of a sudden his feedback went private!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif go to search bidder and type in his name and see what he's bidding on. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif

He's quite the bidder. Here is a link: http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws1/eBayISAPI.d...=1&rows=25 Maybe he's looking for cars on his own since Motown Matt isn't helping him anymore (small attempt at humor with regard to the thread below). https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/show...&fpart=all I think that guy's bids should be cancelled in order to bring things back down to earth on the Nova auction. It looks like a lot of auctions were corrupted by his bidding. A geniune businessman with the resources to seriously purchase cars of that caliber would not be sloppy and generate negative feedback or the need to hide it. |
Re: yenko deuce
I hope Patrick is still following this thread. Looks like another eBay clown has been exposed https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif

Re: yenko deuce
Hey folks lets keep only 1 post on the car going. The other 2 only had links to the car and since this one had the most input/talk about the car I kept it alive.
Good luck with the sale Pat, and hope the new owner will take care of it as it should be. |
Re: yenko deuce
The same bidder bought a dirt bike via an eBay auction that ended on July 4. Auction details are still available here. Perhaps you can contact the seller of the bike via the "Ask seller a question" link on the auction page, for a reference check a name and address.

Re: yenko deuce
At least he bought something https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif Im sure that was just the money in the ash tray! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif

Re: yenko deuce
guys, please, i am following the thread, thanks for the concern...there are lots of folks following the car on e bay, .... i think whoever ends up the high bidder will be quite happy with the car.good luck to all bidders, this is a special car, i will pass along the invite to the new owner and hope they bring the car to several of the reunions...

Re: yenko deuce
Another one.https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif I saw a private feedback bidder the other day. I still can't believe it's even an option. How many negatives does it take to get kicked off now? It used to be three. A year or two ago I saw someone with 7 (seven) negatives. Just a few day's ago I saw someone with 14 (yes, Fourteen!) negatives and 8 (eight) neutrals. Now he/she has 260 positives and a 94.9% rating, but is that good? I didn't bid on the item because of all the negatives. I can post the ID if you like.
|
Re: yenko deuce
You can't judge feedback solely on negative feedback. I have some negatives and they have all come from the cheapest items I have sold, from bidders that expect much more than the description stated; or retaliation for a negative left to a seller by myself. If a seller(me) says specifically chrome is majorly pitted and will need serious rechroming work and the winning bidder expects it to polish up, there is not much the seller can do but offer a refund. But I refuse to pay return shipping on an item like that which results in a negative on a $5-$10 part. Also, if I am the buyer and a seller majorly misrepresents an item, then will not respond to contacts to make things right, I will leave a negative. This usually results in a negative from the seller as retalation since he/she thinks its OK to screw people. Feedback should definitely not be private, but it should be taken with a grain of salt at times. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif

Re: yenko deuce
Right. I definitely understand and agree. I try to follow that reasoning when the situation arises. This particular case the 14 negatives and 8 neutrals were all within the past 3-4 months (heavier in the past 2) of the ID's 5 month existence.

Re: yenko deuce
Looks like he bailed, went from 45 bids down to 38. New high bidder - get 'er done!!
Just a note Pat, there are 7 (rather than 4) documented Huggar Orange Yenko Deuce Novas, and the suspension package is F41 (rather than F40). |
