NICKEY CRUISE NIGHT 6/19/03
 

For all the Chicago area members. There is a cruise night in Crystal Lake tomorrow night that some of us here have known about for a while. (I don't know why any of us mentioned it earlier) It should be a rare oportunity to see what Tom Stefani said would be 8 Nickey cars at one spot. I think that I will be there and I know that ChrisS from Hobart IN will be there and I am sure that Mike G (sixtiesmuscle) will have a car or two there. Any other members planning to attend? Stefano? Rick P? Darren C? Belair62? etc.

I will be the big tall dude with a white Nickey t-shirt on. I will have my digital camera and will post pics if I make it.

Hi All,
For those of you who don't already know, there will be a cruise night here in Crystal Lake featuring some of the cars of Nickey Chevrolet. It will be on June 19th from 6 - 9pm in downtown Crystal Lake. We will have at least 8 Nickey cars and they have set aside a special area for us just north of Home State Bank on Grant St. Hope to see all of you there.

Whoa. Glad I caught this. Might just have to drive there from work though. I am out here already. Don't know if I would have time to go home and get the car. Wish I would have brought it to work today...

The show as great except for the 101 mile trip back home! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img] What I do for my passion........... Hung out with ChrisS, DarrenX33, saw sixtiesmuscle(see attachment) and his beauties, Chris B (the current owner of the X Stefano 2002 Nickey tribute ZL1), and of course Mr. Tom Stefani. I can't believe that I didn't get any pictures of his road race car! Their was just so many people around it. He started it a couple of times and WOW what a sound!

Do you guys believe that the darn owner of Nickey Chevrolet of all places didn't even give his son a car to drive! Tom told me that he had to go out and buy a used Volkswagon! He said that the next best thing was to find a hot girl with a hot Camaro purchased brand new through Nickey Chevrolet. Notice the steelies!
