Larry Christensen
Is he a memeber of this site, is he from Colorado, does he own a yellow ZL-1? If the answer to these questions is yes I believe it is very possible that he did the resto on my car and I would very much like to talk with him. Help please...

Re: Larry Christensen
I think you are right...and for a record amount if I remember correctly?
|
Re: Larry Christensen
Guys, thanks, I am going to try to contact him as the info I have leads me to believe he is the one and if so I want to congratulate him on a job well done and see if he has further history.

Re: Larry Christensen
BTW, who owns the ZL-1 now?
|
Re: Larry Christensen
It is safley tucked away in Arizona and it was nowhere near a Record Price. Yes that is Larry's # I sent you. Kick him through the phone for me.

Re: Larry Christensen
Do I sense some hostility Charley?
|
Re: Larry Christensen
Nahhh, he's supposed to kick him in a Friendly way.

Re: Larry Christensen

Re: Larry Christensen
Talked to Larry today and he didn't do it but he gave me the number of the guy who did. Spent about an hour on the phone with him. He has a complete file and a video of the resto, also he confirmed the car as 65K original mile car when he did the resto (67K now). He also is going to help me find the original block. I will be meeting him in person at the Denver SCS this month. Thanks again, guys, I'm feeling very encouraged.

Re: Larry Christensen
Don't you guys watch "Antiques Roadshow"? That's called "patina" and its supposed to enhance the value. It's just not fair that a 200 year old chair with 3 layers of paint showing is desirable, but a 35 year old car with the same finish is a godawful project.
|
Re: Larry Christensen
Me and the car are both looking a little old. I have already been offered more than 225.
|
Re: Larry Christensen
225 large is alot of money for an old looking car.
|
Re: Larry Christensen
Yup, but, still not enough to buy it.
|
Re: Larry Christensen
old # 3 is toocool!! Where is numnber 69?
