Re: Malcolm Konner Chevrolet
Malcolm Konner Chevrolet Corp Paramus, NJ was a well known Corvette dealer. I found this on the net.....
"Fifty "Malcolm Konner Commemorative Edition" 1986 Corvettes were built in a special arrangement honoring the New Jersey Chevrolet dealership's founder, Malcolm Konner. Each Corvette had special two-tone paint schemes, Silver Beige over Black, coded "spec".Window stickers reflected 4OO1ZA as the RPO, and a $500 cost for MALCOLM KOONER SP.EDIT.PAI. All were coups, twenty with manual transmissions, thity with automatics. All had graphite leather interiors. One was retrofitted with a Callaway twin-turbo engine." |
Re: Malcolm Konner Chevrolet
Are there any known COPO Camaros from this dealership?

Re: Malcolm Konner Chevrolet
I just looked through my old files from 1995. At that time, the dealer code was 185 in district 07. I still have the codes on my original ZR1 locator sheets from then. Hope this helps. I know Gary Konner is still around. He'd be a ton of help on this one.

I have a '67 Corvette that was sold new at Malcolm Konner Chevrolet. I've got tons of paperwork on this car and may have some of the info you're looking for. Here are the codes you asked about which appear on my paperwork dated between August and January 1966:
Malcolm Konner Chevrolet Corp. 194 Route 17 Paramus, NJ 07652 Telephone 261-7100 Zone number ......35 Dealer Code .....184 District .........04 Hope this is helpful. |

Re: Malcolm Konner Chevrolet
I believe LV Camaro's Azure Turquoise 69 RS COPO was sold new from this dealership, with enough original paperwork and documentation to choke a horse! There is also another Conner Chevrolet in Indiana that also sold some high performance Chevys, but spelled with a C instead of a K.

Re: Malcolm Konner Chevrolet
The Indiana dealership was Max Conner in Roanoke, IN. They sold at least two yenko deuces, both are unaccounted for and have very old title histories. They are rumoured to be junked.
Ironically, a NJ deuce spent some time in Roanoke, IN - not a Konner car, but rather a Wallace car. We have no idea how it got there, some of these Jersey cars get around, others don't https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif |
