There used to be a blue 68 big block camaro with that same rare shifter set up in NJ many years back. I think that car had like 276 rear gears I saw it a couple times

Really nice. I'm just curious about the '67 style floor shifter in a '68. He didn't focus much attention on the shifter in the video with it being so unique you'd think he would. I also wonder if it was dealer installed? It, as well as several other things appeared to be added on the invoice and appears to be in a different handwriting or different color ink.
I'm not saying it's bogus but I would like to see the P-O-P and the TT. |
Courtesy of CRG….
“A floor-shifter for automatic transmissions was only available with the D55 console. Except 1968 L35/L34 396 engines with the TH400”. Not sure if the bench seat was a factor, but it’s cool. |
That shifter is factory and the documentation supports it (both the AIM and this car's shipper).
RPO M11, one-year only. Only with big block and auto. You don't see that shifter very often. Only 82 made. There was another one, turquoise, also with a WS. Guy changed out the bench and the shifter and painted it red - said it was weird. Yup, now you are like everyone else. 124378L334856 |

Sorry they’re somewhat fuzzy but here’s a few pics captured from the video. L34/M40 w/ AC also fold down rear seat, plate frame is Kenneth Chevrolet, Hawthorne CA. :beers: ~ Pete . |
