Mecum Kissimmee Senseless Murders
 

Heartbreaking as they just came to enjoy the auction last week.
Anyone here know them or know more about this? ...and please don't make this political in any way,shape or form or I will ask that Steve delete you.

This statement from the family of three tourists murdered in Osceola County:
...“With heavy hearts we confirm the deaths of our beloved husbands, fathers,grandfathers,uncles,brothers,and friends.
Douglas Kraft of Columbus,Ohio,Robert Kraft of Holland,Michigan and James Puchan of Galena,Ohio.
They attended the Mecum Car Show in Kissimmee,Florida last week with brothers and longtime friends and were staying at an Airbnb.While waiting for assistance after rental car trouble and preparing to travel home,they were being observed from a distance by an unknown individual who was well-known to local law enforcement.There were no known interactions between the men and this individual prior to the event they were then approached and senselessly murdered.This was a random,tragic act.These three wonderful men did not deserve this.Our families are left with an unexpected, unimaginable loss that cannot be put into words.”

Oh man, this is horrible. Thoughts and prayers to the families. This is the first I've heard of this incident.

Unbelievably terrible. Wishing their families the absolute best in their heartbreak.

I read about this today and had no idea the three victims were attending Mecum. I'm sorry to hear this news.

I sure hope they find who is responsible for this senseless act.

The perp had a history of mental health issues so the “why” may never be understood by the rest of us. Totally senseless to me at least.

"Osceola County Sheriff Christopher Blackmon said the investigation into the shootings is ongoing.

'There is no threat to the community, as a suspect of these horrific and senseless murders and been caught and arrested by Osceola County deputies,' he said in a statement".


I'd bet a good chunk of change that these exact words were uttered in 2021 after Ahmed shot-up the gas station and was in custody.

In the 2021 case his insanity plea was accepted and he was returned to society while being treated for his mental illness as an outpatient.

I am sorry but, based on the information out there, this was totally preventable. You can't control the mind of a mentally deranged lunatic but you can prevent them from being a risk to the general public by admitting/confining them to an asylum. "No threat to the community" my A$$

Judges and prosecutors who allow frequent fliers and the mentally deranged to circle in and out of prison with light sentences should be strung from light poles, tarred, feathered, and left to rot as a warning to others. After the guilty party themselves is fed feet first through a wood chipper. Slowly.

Being 29yrs old is he a citizen, was he a citizen 6 yrs ago when he committed the
other crime?

Unfortunately, it's the world we are living in. You hear this type of thing happening every day on the news. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Family's.

As someone who broke down in the middle of the night on a desolate Florida road not long ago I can tell you this hits pretty close to home. I was in an area that was very transient not too long after being at garlits museum . and a lot of truckers 2 lane road w swamps on both sides my wife and 2 kids in the car. It’s been long time since I have been in a position like that. Had to stop a few times at closed. gas stations and parking lots to limp my way back to civilization will say I was a little more than concerned a few times by interest from others.

Very sorry to hear these men ran into trouble in a situation like that you’d think w three of them they’d have been Ok . Guess you never know who you’re dealing with out there .
