We were sitting by the wood stove last nite and our Maine Coon Gibson was in his nest by the stove. He got up and did a little pose...he is a great cat!

Yes...he is a cool cat...he loves to be loved...my buddy :smile:

My daughter has a Maine Coon identical to that one, they’re great cats and very smart.
She’s taught her to fetch and return which most cats look at you and say “get it yourself”, not hers, she loves to play. ��

My GF has 2 cats, for Christmas I bought them a cat fishing pole. The one cat loves it. It came with 8 things you can attach to it.

My boy Sid (RIP) was always good for a pose also, especially in a warm spot.

Gibson and Sid (of blessed memory) are studs!

My wife converted me to cat owner and cat lover (most days). My litter mate/brother rescues are Cam (short for Camaro) and Chevy (obviously short for Chevrolet). They fight like brothers are great companions - you just cannot compare cats to dogs.

We call her Stelli.

She is a short hair Orange Tabby that is an indoor cat.
Cats are much smarter than they get credit for ….. sneaky smart 🐈.

Loving and Snoozing.

This is our Cheddar. He was a feral cat that we rescued 10 years ago. He was the most loving cat we've ever had.


Sadly, he passed away this past August from an aggressive cancer. We spoiled him up to the end.


It broke me when he passed.... :frown:

It is woodstove season at our house and the cat loves the heat...he camps out in front of the stove.

I am enjoying the other cat photos and stories...great stuff :cool2:

I bought my GF a harness to take her one cat outside when we’re out on the patio, it took a little to get her into the routine, I have 5 seconds to get it on or I get bit, now when she sees me come over, automatically runs to the door wall to go out. lol.

He's a real ham. Love it. We have 3 cats. Cookie is a 3-year-old Norwegian Forest cat. They all like to find the sunny parts of the house. Cookie has hair growing out of her paws like Gibson does. We have hard wood floors & she does some serious skating through the house. She'll start shedding that fur coat in a few months. Saved her from the Coyotes ..Joe

We have wood floors in the kitchen and Gibson has trouble getting traction when he has the 'zooms'...:tongue:

Karen thinks he may have a little of the Forest Cat in him as well. Your cat is great...and Gibson was feral and a rescue. We got him during COVID.

----If Joe was on your hood with his eyes closed you would for sure miss him completely!....Bill S

Chewie, Saber and Lady Jaye. All 3 are rescues.

Chewie is the youngster at 4 years old and he came from the dealership lot cat. Saber and Lady Jaye are both around 12 years old. Saber was a little feral country kitten and Lady Jaye came from a local pet adoption drive. Chewie is a mischievous little shit but he's my best bud and my shadow. Saber is the sweetest cat ever and is super chill. Lady Jaye still thinks everyone is trying to murder her, even after 12 years with us. lol
