Anyone remember this car.

This 69 Camaro listed by Milton Robson was on the same page as my 4K car was listed in Hemmings July 1995. I’ve always wondered what happened to this Camaro. I’d say it’s in someone’s collection it being a high end Supercar.
Best place that I know to ask this question?
Just curious 🧐

Looks like this car belonging to Kevin Suydam

Ahhh, those were the days...when in-print Hemmings actually offered full pages of interesting cars to choose from.

I saw that too but Stinger Hood/Stripe different so first thought must be another car, then found this below link w/ same car/details but correct Hood & Striping.
Is Stinger picture a mistake or does Kevin have two Hoods & Header Panels or if Hood & Striping changed, which did it/does it have now?:hmmm:

----You may call them Crows Feet, but I think that's another style American. What I see are Torque Thrust D's....

Did Kevin S. buy the car from Milton or later on?

Oldss 01-12-2026 12:12 AM

Jim Stubbings at Heartbeat City had a similar Camaro the he restored and I believe just sold.

Very interesting, I didn't notice that at first glance. One of the pictures ( the rear shot) on Kevin's site shows the car siting on the same floor as the Hemmings ad. Stickers on the windshield match in both pictures. One would think it's the same car with different hoods and headers panels. That Camaro has always been a favorite.

AR called them "D" spokes, but they much later became known as crows feet. Many use that term to separate them from the much later "D" spokes that were rounded on the outside vs. shaped like a crows foot.

Didn't know that Milt once owned the 68 Z convertible!
I believe Dana Mecum owns it now?
When was this ad from?
Also from Hemmings?

This car was featured in the July '84 issue of Super Chevy when it was still owned by Sam Dedominick who was the original owner. At that time it had the cowl induction hood. It was then featured in the October '91 issue of Super Chevy when Milt Robson owned it and it also had the cowl induction hood then. This is the first recent photograph I have seen with a stinger hood back on it. The last I knew this was an original paint unrestored car. It does look better with the stinger hood back on it.

The picture of the car in the snow is when it was brand new. I had read somewhere that Sam had returned the car to Motion to have the fiberglass hood repaired due to it cracking, and to repair some paintwork blemishes. Look at the paint chipping off the RH headlight door. After multiple issues with the hood, it was replaced with a cowl induction unit.

Think Dana still has it. Hemmings, don't recall which issue.
