Is This Mick Price’s “Old” Camaro At Mecum?

Note the description…Powerglide automatic when clearly there’s a Muncie in the car. Who writes this stuff for Mecum?

LMAO......must be the same people who write for BaT:eek:

I'd say that's the car. Between the color combination and the anniversary block, that has to be it.

It’s probably artificial intelligence doing it!!👎

big gear head 12-31-2025 02:50 PM

Powerglide? :dunno:

Isn't that something...L-O-L...at least we're getting the seller some traffic. W

I'm thinking lack of intelligence

That horrible description of the car doesn't help with the sale. It looks like an M22 Powerglide transmission with the drain plug

And no interior photos??? WTF.... :)

mprice 01-01-2026 04:30 PM

Yes that is my old car I sold it last fall. Yea I got a kick out of the description listing it as a powerglide when the M22 is something any seller would want to highlight. I don't know what the car will bid to but if they drive it on the block the sound alone will sell it. That car had the best sound of any car I have ever owned.

Needs the Torq Thrust's back on it !

mprice 01-06-2026 06:33 PM

I agree Jeff but I kept the torq thrust for future use. They did a good job photographing it because gold is hard to get a quality photograph, at least it is for me.

1967 4K 01-06-2026 07:27 PM

Good move keeping the Torque Thrust!

Hi again Mick…Do you still have the other COPO replica? I think you said it was or is yellow?

mprice 01-07-2026 05:05 PM

Yes I still have the yellow replica of the number 57 ZL1

This was a "ZL1 Replica", part of the Dream Giveaway about a dozen or so years ago.

Yea that yellow giveaway car isn't the one I have. That yellow giveaway car belonged to Bruce Litton at the time I don't know who has it now. My Yellow car was restored and belonged at that time to Larry Christensen. When the weather gets better I can get some photos of it to post but I have very few at this time. Meanwhile here is a couple shots of it.

Xplantdad 01-14-2026 06:20 PM

Mick, it's Beautiful...and Larry Christiansen's Camaros are always nice!

92646 01-14-2026 07:02 PM

I loved the Gold car but this one is about as close to perfect that I have seen.

Oh thanks for posting I couldn't ask for better pictures this saves me taking them and it appears you are better with the camera than I am.

NEATSS 01-16-2026 07:35 PM

You're welcome! Just keep me in mind for the next "cheaper than cheap, nobody will ever want it" COPO, Yenko, ZL1 project you find.

EZ Nova 01-18-2026 12:32 PM

Anyone know why the original car was pulled? link is dead now.

mprice 01-18-2026 04:16 PM

I haven't heard, but I was curious to see what it would have done at the auction.

luzl78 01-18-2026 04:34 PM

i love the shade of that yellow in the cloudy day pic. very subdued. the recent pics show how in your face the yellow is. awesome car!
