Prefer a build date before 11E(5th week of November)

Will look into any condition but needs to be a good core if restoration is needed.

Well I did have one that might have worked for you with no date on the base plate.

However, I slipped and fell today on the snow / ice and dropped the carb and a piece broke. I don't think it can be fixed. Sorry Dave

Sorry to hear, is the damaged section on the body?

Yes, on the main body where the Choke installs.

Don't know how rare the part is or if its worth getting fixed but there is a guy in California that can fix it. Great guy and reasonably priced. https://potmetal.repair/

I've used him on a rare part and his work was flawless.

Check out Chicago Corvette https://www.chicagocorvette.net/. They have cores in stock and do the rebuild, replating and bench testing on each carb they sell. 3-5 weeks from start to finish.

They are currently rebuilding a 7028213 DY 0318 for my 03B 68 SS 350. Should get it in the next two weeks.

ChicagoCorvette Supply was started in the mid 1970's by Al Fierke who also owned/ran Chicago Chevy Vette Fest for decades.I heard he moved to Oregon after it's demise.
I don't know if Al sold the ChicagoCorvette company afterwards,but see their mailing address is Eugene Oregon today,and their phone # is still a Chicago area code,so it most likely is him still.
He's had his ups & downs on many Car forums in the past if you Google him,as well as a lot of eBay - feedback.
He was selling on eBay under the name mztcarb some 20 years ago,then switched to graygracy,and am told he now sells on eBay as MECHANICAL AND MORE.

There's usually a reason an Ebay seller bounces from name to name. I remember graygracy having some expensive parts with questionable stampings. Tread with caution if it's the same guy IMO.
