Pretty incredible car and I'd guess a one of one with these options. Sold new at Holiday Chev-Olds in Winnipeg.

Pretty nice. Seems to be a few B body BB cars for sale in Canada, not much action though.

That could be a fun car to cruise around in. Maybe upgrade to a 425. ;)

Awesome car. Would look good next to my 68 Belair.

not sure if true or not --- the options are provided by the person requesting the Canadian docs. --- can anyone share ?

Canada Vintage Services provides as Built/Shipped details including Color + Options for Customer supplied VIN, info available for Canadian Sold cars regardless of Build Plant.
Also available for US Sold ‘77 and up GM vehicles which is most useful for ‘77+ Camaros/F’Birds/Monte SS/Grand Nationals/Trucks etc, click here for more info…

Reports are provided from internal GM of Canada documents, options listed were on the car when delivered new.

3S is a known Canadian Suffix for 1968 L36.
We’ve looked at this 3S also other Canadian Numerical Suffix Codes in past threads, I have an old Non-GM publication that lists a bunch of them so anyone check in if more pop up.
Also of note, Canadian car Vin Plant designations are also numerical unlike US built cars, Plant 1 = Oshawa, 2 = St. Therese as this example etc.

Does T = Tonowanda ?
0111 = Date Code ?

PeteLeathersac 11-13-2025 07:58 PM

Yes, standard Tonawanda build/Date format but unique Canadian Suffix beginning w/ a #.
Also of note, often the same ones were used w/ different Trans and other Options where a US car would have a specific Suffix for Auto/Stick etc.
