Yet another..... 1967 L79 Corvette, 2 tops, 19k miles
You could say I'm on a streak. I took in this 67 L79 from my Dad, as he decided he could not live without the 62 340hp car I found a couple of months ago. I sourced this car from Kenny Pascoe about 5 years ago. This is a 19k mile (documented) car with what looks to be most all original paint, born with drivetrain, and most all original dated secondary components. The car is an M21 4 speed, 4.11 positraction car. Complete owner history, CCAS (Al Grenning) affirmed engine and POP, title copies, misc reciepts, NCRS Shippers Report. I've got to get cooking on this one, as I sourced yet another 67 L79 coupe (that would be the 4th I have currently):eek2:
I'll post the progress pics as I prepare this one for market. This won't need much at all. One of the few items I was in need of, was a properly dated 326 water pump, which Joe Smith had the perfect unit. That should be here today. The only other original piece that is AWOL is the fuel pump, and I just so happen to know where the right one is. Just a couple of pics for now....... https://i.imgur.com/3ILL1nUh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/RZK5sI2h.jpg |
I think a forum user name change is needed...

Way cool! I was wondering when you were going to announce this one.

Pictured here is the POP and original dealer invoice and glove compartment documents, all being original to the car

The right side, was replaced with an NOS unit at some point. https://i.imgur.com/jSZvULsh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/CTyIcjKh.jpg Beautiful original interior and the odometer today as I write this https://i.imgur.com/THqOsyah.jpg https://i.imgur.com/RFPV3oBh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/J8nqJYPh.jpg And an overall of the engine compartment https://i.imgur.com/SiennxLh.jpg A good original car would not be complete without an oil change sticker https://i.imgur.com/l02qSXah.jpg |
You are on the road to a 1967 L79 in every color, wouldn't that be a cool collection?
|
Something so simple as a virgin spare tire. I find the backside very interesting given the production date of the car. You can see where the wheel was hung for the argent application

You are definitely on a roll.

Wow, Tim, the paperwork is incredible and I bet you know the ownership history all the way back to the original owner!? Looks like a real beauty.

An influencer? For the most part silly and ridiculous.
I always look forward to viewing all your Corvette threads that feature the best in the business. Plus the high quality workmanship you deliver with these cars passing through BMC. But I sometimes lose track of the fast pace inventory so I fail to comment. I am a follower though. Tim Schuetz is what I call a legit influencer. |
Lol......thank you Chris. I'm just doing what I think is right. To say nothing for the enjoyment and gratification I get from the process.

Your choice of light looks great!
Never ever bright sun. Slight overcast are best for photos of an automobile. Color looks real. Beautiful ‘67 Corvette. |
Need a few Pics with the Hard top

Tim,
Since you are on a roll with the ‘67 Corvettes I have a question. It seems the vast majority of ‘67 have the Rally wheels. Were the one year aluminum bolt ons not ordered as much for a certain reason (price ?) as I think they are a very good looking exotic wheel especially on a coupe. Thanks, Chris |

Oh Boy ….. this book is a fast read.
That maroon roadster looks awesome with the hardtop installed. The Tim G. Ermine White on blue ‘67 coupe looks so damn good with the bolt ons. Are they real ? Love those Black & Yellow plates! |
