|
|
Good looking car.

Looks like you’re right Bruce, especially being a Black Fremont car. ‘02 Feature notes POP but nothing in Mecum Ad also why no NCRS Report?:hmmm: 136379Z364805 :beers: ~ Pete . |

So it’s a known car, was featured here in 2002, and nobody knows anything about it like when it was restored etc.? It looks to be sitting higher than stock in the pictures and looks to sit low on the right front or is that just me? Rare car for sure if it has docs to prove it is what it is. Bill |
The mecum ad says it had the protecto-plate and so does the 02 feature.looks like they went back to stock wheel setup otherwise it looks the same. You could assume it’s at least a 25 year old restoration based on the 23 year old feature. I’ll be at mecum Indy if you need feedback on it. I own 2 69 copo chevelles and would be happy to help you spend your money!

Yessir...it was 2007. Check out this post. Love the banter that we used to have... Pics are towards the end of the post. A few good folks that are no longer with us...posted in this thread: https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthre...n+SEMA&page=14 :beers: |

Yessir...I had video on photobucket at one time :) :beers: |
Thanks for this! I did own a 69 COPO 427 Chevelle engine and the car came from the Kansas City plant! I am still looking for this car as the engine was removed in '72 when the owner traded the Chevelle for a 1972 Corvette! I bought the engine from his garage where he had stored it for 40+ years!

Did you end up winning the car? Felt like it went cheap.
|
Really cheap IMO for a known COPO
