Yes at the time hardtops fit “D”; converts like the Ray Allen-Truppi Kling car fit “E”.

I believe “Red Alert” was SS/DA? I’m sure Bill will chime in.

----Bob Hamilton's best time back then was around 10.90 if I remember correctly. When Terry and I decided to race at vintage events I didn't have to stay legal SS/DA. We ended up running low 10's because I would have had to modify the car more than I wanted to if I ran in the 9's. 10's are a good ride in a 3900 lb. car that still has it's original rear and trans.....Bill S

Could also be a Kansas or Atlanta car as there are documented square striped original paint cars out there. This is an original paint Leed's LS6.

Rick, I'm not doubting you but those stripes look awfully wide on the black car. Maybe just the angle of the picture.
