1969 Nova 307 - Original Owner
This is Joan. She's 87. She bought this car new in 1969. We've known their family since the late 1980s. Her husband is gone, but every year we go over to her house and get the Nova running for a spin around town. This car is just shy of 15,000 miles.

:grin:That's awesome!! You're a good dude for doing that. Cars definitely keep them young... The stories that Bob, 2nd owner of my pace car had and his anticipation of going for a ride once I'm done restoring it, is motivating! He gave me this pic of the car from 1970(I also have transfer of title with reg. #)

What a neat story, thanks for sharing. |
A 69 Nova with factory air sold in Minnesota would be a rarity.
|
That is what I was thinking Bill. That's why I asked.
|
WOW....let's hope Joan gives you a shot at buying that car someday.
The ultimate "little old ladies car". Paul |
I had one just like that with a 307 and hubcaps. Was my winter beater and I had to fill up on oil every time I filled up on gas. I kept a case of oil in the trunk.

the late 60's, early 70's Nova is probably in the top 3 of mint cars still stashed in garages across the US, good, basic transportation that was the only thing that a lot of the older set cared about
|
If I came across one of those I'd be compelled to buy it. I know of a restored '70 6 popper 4 door in green lol.
I had a '69 Nova SS former drag car in the early 90s, was too rough to restore by 1992 standards. |
