Muncie m22

Is a 70 m22 tailshaft bushing the same as a th400 bushing

hiperf69 01-03-2023 08:01 AM

Only if it’s from an LS-6 in 1970
All others were Std. outputs.
Joe

That is not true. LS5 Chevelles also had the big output in 1970. I’m not sure if the bushing is the same from T400 to Muncie though.

Last question, who drew up the blue prints and holds a patened for part in question.

roadster 01-03-2023 06:07 PM

Discontinued from GM , so likely buy aftermarket or do without .

You're pretty rude. He never questioned your parts book numbers, he provided dimensions and an aftermarket part number for the correct aftermarket bushing.

MarcDant 01-03-2023 07:18 PM

Had he replied to my question, (7th post on this thread) it would not have gone this far, so sorry i offended you dustin.

He did answer your question, several times, very clearly. Apparently the misunderstanding is on your part. He can only explain it to you, he can't help you understand it.

At least I understand that I contributed to the original post with some info regarding the m22 and turbo 400 and all you got to inject into the thread are opinions. Enough already, do I owe you an apology to TO MANY PROJECT.

ALLZS I apologize for the highjack and if you need a bushing let me know, thanks Marc.
