'67 #s L30/M20 Camaro, Special Paint (Orange?)
Neat project that has the old 1980s neglected street machine look. This would be a fun one to restore back to its original special-order color - assume that was Omaha Orange - makes you wonder if it came from Dana or Clippinger or another hi-po SoCal dealer.

Clearly orange. ;)

Wasn't there a Dana 68 Z in some strange orange/school bus yellow color on here a few years back?
|
Yes, there are a couple of Dana '68 Zs in that special paint "Cal Trans" orange and also a '68 Z in "School Bus Yellow" but that one was from Hansen Chevrolet in Los Angeles, not from Dana. There have been a good number of special paint cars observed from the Van Nuys plant and not nearly as many from Norwood for some reason.

Someone here close should nab the subject car! Is the Delivering Dealer known yet?:hmmm: The SB Yellow Hansen car is awesome also in a few past threads including this one... https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=145657 :beers: ~ Pete . |

Bids @ $ 17,100.00 w/ less than 24 Hrs. left to go... https://www.ebay.com/itm/11505619861...=10001&mkevt=1 Hope we hear more about it after auction ends also best of luck anyone here trying to land it. :beers: ~ Pete . |
Reserve not met...
I'm thinking the bid is at least 5k short of the reserve at this point. It is a cool car that does deserve a nice restoration. The trunk floor and quarter panel rust is very similar to my '67 coastal CA Camaro. Gonna be more to replace than just what is seen... |

Auction ended early, subject vehicle no longer available. Congrats whoever scored it, hope we get to see/hear more including delivering dealer info. :beers: ~ Pete . |
I hate it when ebay removes the bidding history. I bid on a '64 Comet Caliente earlier this week and got a notice that my bid had been rejected because the vehicle was no longer available, same as this. Never got to see what the bid was at when it went away.
I'm thinking the well equipt '65 Chevelle is going to disappear before the auction ends too. He said he'll let it run, but we all know that money talks. |
Saw it for sale on Craigslist for $21,900 so I assume it probably sold to a local guy.
