Amazing condition, special car...shame about the color. That site has been turning out some big numbers recently.

I usually don't like yellow but it works with this interior!

That was an amazing car we Vintage Certified in 2015 and achieved Time Capsule.

Wonder where the two support bars that bolt from the fenders to the radiator support went on that car? Looks like they were there at one time.

Bizarre.

Present in pic 79, absent in pic 80.

Copied from the BaT comments for that car:

As far as the support braces, the picture in the auction showing them off the vehicle was due to installing the battery which was removed for storage purposes. I inadvertently forgot to reinstall them for the initial pictures we took for this auction.

Kind of crazy to think that a Trans Am equipped with a 455 has single exhaust.

Second year for catalytic converters. Don't think any GM car got dual converters for at least a few more years. Maybe the Corvette?

I have this car's rusty white trash cousin at the moment. Rotted to the ground but runs and drives and numbers matching 455, 4 speed, 3.23 posi.

I like them both the yellow trans am
And the white rusty one.
At least you can drive the white one !
