----Have to wonder about the Arizona tag. Could it be a way of getting around the California smog rules?.....Bill S

and the riveted on fender tag... OUCH!

No SMOG check on a car this old in California.

Agree on the riveted on trim tag. Wonder if it was done a long time ago so it would not be stolen? |
Isn't N96 the factory shaker code on the Ebodies.? Don't see it on that trim tag
|
Also if I’m reading the door tag right this car was made October of 69. Would that be too early for it to be a real shaker car?

Not an E body trim tag expert, but aren't the letter coded options codes grouped together
most of the time.? It seems that the N96 (Shaker code) is way up to the top left and the rest of the "N's" are on the 2nd row with #'s going low to high in order. A lot of the orig E body N96 designations I have seen have been grouped in there.? I may be wrong here |
