Nice Hugger Orange Z28, Flat Hood
I like this one, nice patina claimed matching numbers but few photos. Good to see a flat hood car in a sea of ducted hoods, looks refreshing as how most came.
May have spent some time in the New York area, so check for rust issues. Paul https://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Chevro...8/193807280020 |
Yikes lousy pic of trim tag possibly for good reason and no pic of engine pad.
|
Partial VIn on engine looks ok.
Tag is fine. Would be nice to see pics of all the stampings of drivetrain and components. |
Agreed... cowl tag is real. Cool car without breaking the bank!
|
Priced kind of high for something that needs rust repair and paint.
I have seen worse fitting seat covers; but not on something in this price range. |
Check out the speedometer. It has kilometers on the inner part of the face inside miles per hour.
|
Popped up on TC also. I seem to remember this car being on Craigslist a year or so ago down in SoCal, at a similar price.

Inner Kph #'s appear added also flaking off plus a different face layout than original U18 Speedos. Needs an NCRS report if one not done already also Canada Vintage Services Paperwork may be worth a whirl as when the Metric system hit Canada and Road Signs changed here mid 70's, lots of Speedos were modified w/ Metric #'s added so subject car could've migrated from the North?:hmmm: :beers: ~ Pete . |
Possibly but I have never seen a 1969 Camaro originally sold here with a speedo in KPH.
Worthy to look into though. Paul |

Me either as Metric Speedos didnt start showing up on Candian cars until mid-70's. Again, the subject Speedo appears to be modified, not an original '69 U18 Metric unit. :beers: ~ Pete . |
Relisted in the link below. Looks pretty nice. Needs the extra-puffy repop door panels replaced, but that's an easy fix.
I'm guessing this car lived overseas for some time, and a previous owner had the kph numbers added for convenience. Link to 1969 Z/28 auction |
A no-sale the last time around, so this one has been relisted in the link below:

My brother made an offer at 45 and he turned that down.

The guy wont answer any questions. I think it has alot of potential to be a great car.

Here’s what a factory 1969 Camaro 200kph speedometer looks like:

No sale again at 55k

I think $45k would be a pretty fair price IMO.
