I had no idea L79 Acadians existed! Credit to my cousin, Tim, for finding the ad.

I love these cars. I had one in 1983 when I worked for a GM dealership. All my paychecks went straight to the parts department as I bought NOS fenders, a new hood, and some new trim. On the weekends I would take it into the body shop where I sanded and primed the entire car. Soon after that, a neighbor came by and offered me what seemed like stupid money for it at the time and I sold it.
It was also a 327 sport deluxe, but didn't have the original motor. |
Nice! Not usually into white but it works for me here.

Great little cars!
I'm the benefactor of Bill Wertheim's efforts and own the Gold 66 L79 that he restored. It will be interesting to see the documentation for the car that's advertised.....those headrests are bloody cool. |
I think I saw this car here in Ontario pre restoration.
I’ll have to try to find my pictures. Ryan W31 |
It is a 67 with 66 headlight bezels...he says the car is one of 370 but not L79?
No trunk spatter paint...is this right? Dave 67 Nova Boy |

Sweet car but won't be an original L79 when facts surface, especially being a '67. 7183771103369 :beers: ~ Pete . |

It's close to me if someone wants eyes on it. I've met the seller, probably not his car.

I thought the Nova L79 engines in 1967 were different than the Chevelle and Corvette versions. Cast iron intake with a Quadrajet and an open element air cleaner. This car doesn't have that? I know this is an Acadian but still..

Maybe an Acadian thing? I knew about firewall but not the trunk?

Yes...very nice car pictures...it must be right as that is how they did it as well. Must be tough
to get the trunk/firewall like that. Dave 67 Nova Boy |
Paint
G M in Canada had painted fire walls and trunk. in late 1968 when they went to Lacquer paint the fire wall painted semi black and splatter paint in the trunk.
