Very nicely optioned car. Colors aren't for everyone but triple green will have you in a pretty small club.

I've purchased 3 cars from the gentleman listing the car and he is a stand up guy. I realize it's not his car but just wanted to say that I don't think he would put anything in the listing that he didn't believe to be 100% true. It appears the car speaks for itself though... Very nice.

I’m always appreciative of any car that’s well described. Good pictures. and doesn’t shy away from answering the not yet asked questions.

Of course, it doesn’t say specifically anything about paint being original or having had any blending but the word SURVIVOR is used and that comes with certain expectations... at least to me :)

I think the owner not having a cell phone or internet is rarer than the car.

The guy has owned the car for 4+ decades and never dropped the top? That is unusual. He must be a character.

New owner should check the rams for surface rust before trying to lower the top. When these are exposed they can get some rust and pitting on them, and then when the rams are drawn into the cylinders the o-rings can get torn up from the rough surface. This is often what causes them to leak. You can replace the o-rings, BTW. I did this on mine, took care of the leak, without shelling out the cash for aftermarket ones.

if its true,,,who has a convertible that they have NEVER had the top down in years??? I am not buying it, personally and it looks like there is some cancer hidden in that car

I agree it's strange, but I know two people who have literally never lowered the top on their muscle-era convertibles.

I see show cars like that all the time - especially the rotisserie restored cars that are up on a turntable at a car show. Much less common on an unrestored car that gets driven. Have to wonder if the prior owner(s) ever had it down.

My first car in 1978 was a '69 Firebird convertible and I kept the top down as much as possible.

On my wife's '68 RS/SS convertible the only time the top was ever up was the day we sold it.

I try to leave my top up when I'm not driving the car, because the top material can shrink to the point where you can't get the top back up and closed fully. Also, those wrinkles can become semi-permanent when you leave it down for months at a time. I also usually leave it up when I am at a show and it will be sitting out in the hot sun all day long. Those black seats get scalding hot, and the carpet and underside of the top will fade over time from the effects of Ol Sol. Yeah, you can install the top boot to help with the top fading, but those things are a complete pain in the azz, especially on first gen Camaros.
