Black 69 Z28 or 66 SS 396 Chevelle convert.

24 Attachment(s)
69 Z28, 39000 miles, orig interior but repainted exterior, headers, traction bars etc. Orig drivetrain. Factory black car with white standard interior. Great driver that is quicker than most Z's I have owned. Not mentioned in the written report or described as" minor floor dents" is a poor repair to left rear frame rail and rocker. Also not mentioned in the report is the lower half of the left 1/4 was replaced. All very fixable but not needed if you just want to enjoy the car. 65K firm.

66 Chevelle SS396 convert. Canadian build car, 360 hp, 4 speed, headrest seats, power windows, wood wheel, knee knocker tach, Numbers matching beautiful car. There is a thread here on the site about it somewhere. 85K firm.

You forgot to sand the trim tags
Very nice cars. You didn't keep the Chevelle very long.

Charley Lillard 10-09-2019 01:32 AM

Whatever one sells I will probably keep the other. Great cars but I've been spending money like a drunken sailor.......

the427king 10-09-2019 01:36 AM

The beauty of always buying good cars is you can advertise them all and let others decide which ones you keep ,and be happy regardless of the outcome..win win

Jonesy 10-10-2019 11:30 PM

:hmmm:Man that Black Z is killer :worship:and from Minnesota. I wish I could pull it off but I got too many cars as it is. Unless I financed it for 20 years :naughty:

Email sent Charlie.

Charley Lillard 10-14-2019 08:03 PM

Found a fish on the Z28 I think.

NorCam 10-14-2019 10:45 PM

Is the fish around 6'2", talks with a southern draw, and refers to you as Sir a whole lot?

mike1971 10-15-2019 01:03 AM

:haha:

Lynn 10-15-2019 01:51 AM

Thought I was looking at pics of my Z until I saw the interior shots. Hot summer day, and I am WISHING mine had a white interior.

Great cars.

OK...The fish paid for the Z so it is officially sold..... Or maybe I can sell it twice and double my money..............

Mr70 10-16-2019 12:18 AM

So you're keeping the Chevelle then?

Charley Lillard 10-16-2019 12:43 PM

At this point I'm indifferent. The only place it was advertised was this site so if it sells it will likely go to a member here. Not sure how you could option it better and the restoration would cost more than what I priced it at so no big deal to keep it.

NorCam 10-16-2019 01:26 PM

Just noticed that this Chevelle was a local Calgary car sold at Jack Carter. I'll mention that to a couple collector friends here in town. Killer car for sure.

"The only place it was advertised was this site so if it sells it will likely go to a member here"

Not necessarily true, your cars come up on an internet search, and many people outside the site will see the ad. Much like ebay auctions. Around 90 percent of my sales on this site are from ads I have that people see on searchs ,not by actually starting out on this site . Almost 60 percent of my ebay sales are not from ebay directly but from those same internet searches. I keep pretty good records on analytics and sales data .

Such a neat Chevelle, got to see it in person and would look nice in my garage!

The Black Z has a GREAT gear set in it.
M20 with a 2.52 first & a 3.73 is a better effective first gear than a 4.10 with a M21.

I love White Guts... GLWS

Charley Lillard 02-08-2020 01:42 PM

Hopefully the buyer was made aware of the frame and rocker damage that JM conveniently left out of his report.

With only 221 feedbacks, surprised eBay allowed his phone# in the ad description.

Maxsg1973 02-08-2020 07:00 PM

In Jerry's report he didn't note the engine or rear axle was original to the car like on his other reports. I've seen "original to vehicle" and "original to car" after engine, trans and axle. He does note the transmission is original to the car. Ebay ad says "Original born with drivetrain". I seen some things I have questions on on the engine vin stamping by the filter. Regardless it's an awesome car.

Charley Lillard 02-08-2020 07:17 PM

Car history are known as well as drivetrain. I believe they are orig. JM just left out the damaged frame rail and rocker that even Helen Keller can see. Was done by second owner in a dumb moment.

Charley Lillard 05-15-2020 03:17 AM

Ok. Found something stupid that I want so really want to sell the Chevelle. Somebody please buy it.
