I love that color on that body style.

Steve Shauger 02-11-2019 12:31 AM

Dave, seems like yesterday you got that car. Looks great and thanks for sharing!

AMANOCC 02-11-2019 01:05 AM

X2 Mr. 70, it is the first color I think of after 1967 is mentioned.

Frank does some good work. Have looked at a couple of cars he did, including the 1970 dark green Z/28.

Copo_Cartel 02-11-2019 11:03 AM

Dave ...I have seen the car while at Franks. It looks great. I also like mailbox in the firewall. Cowl plenum Z. :worship:

Cool Car, cant wait to see it when its finished. Any idea if this was the only 67 Z they sold ? Always loved to here all the Old Shallcross stories from Rich about his brothers race cars etc...

luv2sixty9 02-12-2019 10:03 PM

According the owners son (Chris Shallcross), who is a member on this site, indicated the his father told him the dealership only sold one.

You're right.....the show they used to have was in Townsend. Was not aware they had a "history" with high-performance. Where can I learn more about the cars they used to play with?

GrumpyJeff 02-13-2019 10:32 PM

They ran a Willys pick up I believe in the mid 60's, than they had a Jenkins tuned L79 Nova. And then they even dabbled in Pro Stock with a 69 or 70 Nova. I'm sure somebody on here knows more than I do ? Would love to here details on any of their cars .

Bump. Any update on this one?

PLATINUM6BBL 11-05-2020 01:06 PM

Where was this one originally from? I knew of a butternut yellow one from East Brady that a friend of mine had been working on when he passed. Don't know where it went from there. Had been in the hands of the original owner still at that point.
