Bruce's Pavilions pics 02 10 2018
 

Gary and I cruised to Pavilions today (I got there early to save spots-not realizing that there were 4 or 5 different events going on, so a lot of the Desert Derelicts were spread across the valley at the different events. Rick E. and Bob Anderson went to an event in Surprise, John Ward, Toby S., Rich and a bunch of the other crew and Ellen and Dave and Nancy went to an event in Fountain Hills, so that left Gary, Bill Waters, Sizzler Wayne, Shaun, Tom Kelly and John Hill and Angie at Pavilions :)

The lot filled up about 2pm and there were tons of cars...but I only took a few pics. I was too busy talking, sorry! :laugh:

First up is my brother Gary's 2002 Z06 with just over 10,000 original miles. he bought it brand new at Cormier Chevrolet

Also, it was Pontiac night in club row!

The red 62 is an original super duty aluminum fender lightweight car!

John Hill and Angie were there with the black LS6 (video later :eek2:) and the Z16 was parked next to him. The owner of the Z16 is a great guy!

Ward Gappa coming and going in his LS6...A Chevelle formerly owned and restored by a Yenko.net member...and Holly saying hi to Ellen Rendino :)

Cool 62 409 car with aluminum heads and injection...Rich Rendino's Vette next to a bright yellow Z06 and a 427/435 Vette!

First pic is John Hill and his friend Ken Robinson. Ken got a ride from the original owner of John's black LS6 when the car was new!:biggthumpup:

Always a great time seeing all the DerelectSS... Bruce was correct we were spread out all over the Valley yesterday but it is always good to reconnect and share stories back at home base - The Pavilions! Great to see everyone and thanks for the pics Bruce!!!

Missed You Yesterday and next week we are headed out to Havasu for the Rockabilly Reunion so it will be a couple of weeks until we see Y'All!

Thanks Bruce, I see my old '66 Malibu is still hanging around there. If you run into the owner I have a bunch of the resto pictures that I would gladly send them.
