Love that original factory hand choke.
|
Love the Sun Super Tach. Every 90 hp Super Thrift should have come factory equipped with a tach to keep an eye on all that power!
|
Always wanted to do one of these early Nova's w/a Vette fuelie motor. This car would pe perfect for that. And its only 20 miles from me !!!
|
That sounds like a plan....
|
Fuelie 327, M-20, 12-bolt, five-bolt OEM 14x5.5, stock hubcaps or wheelcovers. Make it look like it was delivered that way.

I'd love to find one like that some day (maybe not as nice and original) so I can re-create my father's race car.

Hawk, that Chevy II is killer!
This one ended up selling for $6300. Well bought, I think! |
Saved. The 62 Post Nova is coming to Houston.

...
... Great start for an LS conversion :hmmm: ... Very neat Nova :worship: |

I miss that race car. It was my playground growing up. Not long after this pic was taken, Dad put a 426 Hemi in it with Hilborn fuel injection. I always thought the stacks coming up through the hood were the coolest thing. :3gears: |
For a minute I thought this car below was the same one in the auction link here, but this is a '65. I still think this '62 was a hell of a deal.
