69 Z Questions
I know you guys have probably smoked this one over, but I just can't get it out off my mind. I have made 2 high offers, and got shot down. I think it will take high 70's to buy it. What would you do?

Car has been discussed here before. I seen it listed on their website at 85K and being that it is "legend certified" with 33,000 miles on it, I'd think they are sticking very close to their asking price on it?
It's a killer car in a great color IMO. Perhaps Steve or someone can chime in and add more on it's background? |
I saw before that their asking price was $99k. So if they dropped it to $85k I do not expect them to go much lower than that. Corvette Mike is not afraid of asking all the money for good cars so you are going to need more money than the high 70s to get the car.

128 bids and still below $45k...a lot of dreamers and low ballers!

If the description is accurate then this is a no brainer car.

Yes, I agree with all of you guys. This will be my last Camaro, and I want a good one. It's a good color and has Legands Gold, MacNeish reports and lots of paper. Guess I may take a flight to see it up close. I don't think I will see another true survivor this good?
|
Did Steve do the judging on this car as far as paper work I don't see a window sticker dealer invoice pro Tec O plate not to say it is a nice car
|
I always say "The bank has plenty of 100 dollar bills but no survivor 69 Z28's".

Being as this is a dealer selling, they often are willing to wait for the right buyer to come along. Saw this phenomenon is my car wash days. The owner would occasionally sell a car on consignment for a customer, and we employees would laugh at the too high (we thought) asking price. Sometimes it took a while, but the owner always seemed to get the last laugh and his price, or close.

I believe this car was in the car corral at cruisin for a cure this past weekend. If i remember it said 55k on it at the show
|
That is not the same car.
|
That's probably the endura bumper cowl hood Z I've seen on Craigslist, not the survivor car.

So what's it worth?
|
So I'm probably a maroon, but I can't find the tab with the rest of the pics?

What's up with the gray primer on the underside of the car? ; ) |
----Only an old guy wondering but could what look like grey be black that has weathered in to grey???......Bill S

My 08A Norwood Z had very dark gray primer forward of the axle, and lighter gray from the rear axle back. Lots of black overspray (black car).

All of the collective knowledge on these cars for sale is really cool, especially the 1969 Z/28 Camaros, as these have such a following. It really adds confidence as a buyer if someone knew the car from way back or can add credence to build quality & legitimize authenticity.
Anyone have any info on this '69 Z at Mershons: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Chevrol...vip=true&rt=nc (not sure if I'm doing link right?) I believe this is same car sold at a Mecum auction for $46,000 over the summer. It's optioned identical to my first car- same flat hood and short rear spoiler! Bought from original owner in December of 1980. Would love to see this car in the garage, or another honest Z around $50K price point. Any input appreciated. |
Oh ok this is up at Corvette Mikes... That is right up La palma ave.
