WOW! Just WOW!

Re: Master Cylinder
----Don't want anyone to think the painter just picked out any old red as the color is definetly not Garnet Red. Theres a dash on the tag. Only one dash as the car did come with a parchment top. M.Price picked the red though from another GM line, I believe.....Bill S

Re: Master Cylinder
Originally a special grey/silver/gold?
Seems like the history is well known, it would be cool to know what the special colour was. Ryan |
Re: Master Cylinder
----Ryan,,,I just explained this to Jan and told her that the dash kind of gives you license to paint the car any color you want. I'm not totally OK with that, but was OK enough that I still liked the car. She said "silver and white would be cool" and it would be for me because its my favorite color combo, but that's not in the cards. At least not right now!......Bill S

Re: Master Cylinder
Hope to visit soon to get the whole story.

Re: Master Cylinder
Nice Chevelle and a Maryland car like my Chevelle

Re: Master Cylinder
Bill, you really have to decide over a boat show and drinking beer in the parking lot on Thursday and Friday night with a bunch of drunks ?
You need to come and do some bonding with Grady. We also do some Gin. Think about it? Mike |
Re: Master Cylinder
Congrats again, Bill...

Re: Master Cylinder
So, it looks like you didn't go home empty handed. It was great seeing you in Kissimmee. Great car, good luck with it!

Re: Master Cylinder

Re: Master Cylinder
I believe the original color of this car was Riverside Gold, but when it was restored it was painted Cranberry Red. I posted some pictures of this car when it was at Mecum Indy in 2015 and I believe M. Price posted the original color of the car.

Re: Master Cylinder
Back to the Master, how do the dates run? I understand that they go by week of the year, but what happens Jan 1st? My car is a first week of February 1969, what would an estimated date code be? Thanks!

Re: Master Cylinder
----Jeff,,,What plant was your Chevelle built at?......Bill S

Re: Master Cylinder
Baltimore, Thanks.

Re: Master Cylinder
The masters are Julian date. 1-365. Anywhere from 1-31 would work.
