1970 Yenko Deuce Colors
Is there any sort of a current breakdown, documentation or guide setting forth the number of '70 Deuces still known to exist broken down by color and transmission? One of the members earlier mentioned to me that my 70 Forest Green, 4-speed was one of 14 still known to exist; BUT, I have absolutely no idea where this information might have come from!?

Rick -- when you open this site to the home page ... scroll down and you will see a line item "70 Yenko VIN List" ... click on it and it will take you to the list you're looking for. TAZ

That's the spot Rick ...

Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce Colors
I thought there were only 88 known to still exist! Are there really 120 still left around and accounted for?

Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce Colors
I think there may be another list that will show 175 total Deuces -- 125 original and 50 "Hurst" produced. Also, I remember seeing a list of known to still exist ... but I've slept since a few times. If this info is wrong -- PLEASE -- someone chime in and correct ... TAZ

Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce Colors
Here ya go:
https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...923-remain.jpg There are 2 additional Deuces that are awaiting verification right now, both are Gobi Beige, one is an a/t and the other a 4 speed. So, this chart is finally expected to change! |
Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce Colors
Marlin -- sure wish someone could put an eyeball on my old Cortez Silver Deuce -- last heard of somewhere in Washington state ... TAZ

Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce Colors
You guys MUST have been CIA operatives or really good Private Investigators in an earlier life!!
Many Thanks, Rick |
Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce Colors
The last I heard, your CS Deuce is indeed in Washington state - unrestored. Rick's FG Deuce is included in that chart, only the 2 Gobi Deuces are not included until I get TT info....

Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce Colors
I don't think I have him on record, since he didn't want to divulge TT info.

Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce Colors
There she is! Was maintained and painted in the shop in background. I still have picks of the body work process and the engine on the stand -- I had pretty long hair back then ... LOL In fact, the same day that pic was taken there is another angle showing the 69' Pace Car in the background. TAZ

Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce Colors
Here is a pic of the .060 out 427 that was in the Deuce along with that long haired TAZ ... another tid-bit of info is the person that bought the Deuce from Jim Sanders called me late one nite. He needed background info in the Deuce -- took his phone number, etc. Tried to call him back, but the number I wrote down was WRONG and I never heard from him again. Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce Colors
I did retire from the Gov after 41 years -- but it was USAF/DoD ... closest I ever came to the spooks was Air America in sunny SEA. Back then, CIA meant Cleavage Inspection Agency ... TAZ
