Barrett-Jackson Sunday 1 24 2016
Holly and I went for a few hours to Barrett-Jackson to get some pics for the upcoming week's event. We met up with Stan Harvell, Kenny Berger and that Charley Lillard guy as well! Then we met up and hung out with Ken and Paulette Tibor for the rest of the time that we were there.

The GSX always throws my heartbeat kind of silly.... And I loves me some 455 S/D Brewster green T/A ...BJ is fun but it sure has gotten to be a circus as of late. I wish they stuck with the coverage of the cars and left some of these yahoos off camera where they belong.

I believe that Floyd Garrett '62 409 Bel Air sold at B-J a few years ago for over $160k???
Anyway, I'm flying down on Wednesday. Can't wait to see the cars and hopefully run into some of you guys. |

Just an FYI for anyone who might be interested. Lot 773, going off tomorrow (Thurs) is a '63 Impala 409/425 that is a real car. I documented it many years ago when it was owned by a fellow in Va. Low on other options but it's got the "right stuff" and other than a few minor restoration mistakes, it's the real deal.
