1969 427 Copo Engine MN Code Camaro 4 Speed
 

1969 427 4 bolt block casting #3963512 with front stamping of T0513MN and cannot make out date code or the vin on the block. The block has a very nice coat of paint on it making the date code hard to read without getting the block recleaned. The block is a clean 4.275 ready for a final hone. I have the 3933163 aluminum intake dated 4-30-69, 3919840 heads dated A-29-9 & C-25-9 along with the standard steel cross drilled 6223 crank and the 30 over 11 to 1 pistons on dimple rods. &10,000 for the package and can ship if you cannot pick up and can send pictures with an email address. Could be worth it to take some thinner and look for the VIN stamp. Would be neat to see a COPO reunited with its original block if at all possible.

The paint is nice and thick looking like at one time it came out of a show car. I would need to take it to a machine shop and getting it cleaned to remove the paint. It is in such nice shape I really do not want to do that. I figured a guy that needs the correct timeframe this went through the line is well worth it whether the vin would happen to match or not.

Did you try looking by the oil filter for a vin?

Yes to much heavy paint. No guarantee their is a vin even if I would get the paint cleaned off. Perfect block for somebody missing their engine in a real Copo car.

With so many people asking me to get the vin area cleaned off down by the oil filter I went and got some paint stripper and applied it in the area where it would have been stamped from the factory. After removing the paint their was no vin number that was visible in the area. I can provide pictures of the area cleaned off if needed as well.

Have had a lot of interest on the block and wanted to offer a payment plan if that will help somebody out to help afford to get this to the right home. Shipping is not a problem and I get good deals on it as well.
