Re: Lunchtime in Toronto

I have that print too....what a time. Back then I lived not far from there and rode my bike down to Harvey's regularly to check out the cars. When I was old enough - I took my car(s) there in the 70's....raced a couple of times....mainly hung out and shot the breeze with the others.

RS_COPO_Canuck 07-23-2015 03:05 PM

Re: Lunchtime in Toronto

Just to add to the Harvey's thing.....
Saw a lot of firsts there....
First Z/28
First 69-1/2 Lift-off hood Bee
First Rambler Scrambler
First Hemi-'Cuda rag (now owned by the Blakes in AZ)
Lots and lots of others - it was THE place to go in T.O.

Both the 1967 Corvette and the 1969 Camaro Z28RS are " Original Factory Paint " vehicles.

That Camaro is factory paint?!?! Wow!

Great to see that the owners are enjoying these cars and not parking them in a Museum.

Have had a 67 435 Coupe for years.....just got a 66 425 Roadster.....black with silver guts. Love the C2's......they are their own animal - can't compare them to anything else.

In town on a business trip typing this from Markham as we speak. I sure hope you guys are keeping those beautiful cars off of the 401 during rush hour! That road is a madhouse!

Someone I went to school with had a black Chevelle. Tony A. Same car?

MrMotion 08-04-2015 02:41 PM

Re: Lunchtime in Toronto

The Triple Black LS6 Chevelle belonged to Rick C. who attended Bathurst Heights. Rick owns the Black Camaro RSZ28 and both cars were sold new out of Central Chevrolet in Atlanta Georgia.

RS_COPO_Canuck 08-04-2015 03:16 PM

Re: Lunchtime in Toronto

Different guy/car then. His was a black LS6 as well....and lived in Weston.
I remember another one around Jane and Exbury as well.

Bathurst Heights....cool - My cousin went there.
