Mecum Indy 2015; who's going?
 

I know I am looking forward to this one, as there are always some great cars crossing the block and it is a great place to meet up with old friends and meet new ones.

MCACN will have a display again to talk about what's happening at this years show, and I will be accepting apps for cars and automotive (only) vendors.

I know that several members have some great cars being offered, so tell us...what are you selling or looking to buy?

Someone had a bad day at Mecum Indy. We pulled up to load Greg's car back in the trailer, and this unfolded just then. Flames and smoke started pouring out of this Reliable Carriers Rig. Looks to be a 57 Corvette. There was another Corvette in there along with a 57 Chevy. Sad.

Any word on what happened? I heard about the incident at dinner after the auction. The guys I was with said the '64 Big Tank car also burned. Not sure if that is accurate.

I saw what looked like a red mid-year Corvette, side pipe car on the upper level. And a two tone 57 Chevy white over Dusk Pearl (pink) on lower level.

Unless the owner instructs them to they don't mess with customers cars. As it should be.

As we were leaving they had the 57 Corvette pulled further out of the trailer and it looked like the most &quot;charred&quot; area was at the cowl. I concluded it may have been electrical, under dash.

I'm told it was electrical and it had just been purchased. That would suck.
