1969 olds 442 W32
My friend just bought a 1969 Olds 442 W32 Turbo 400 Sedan original drive train, console buckets. Gm of Canada doc's all there in decent shape. Is this a rare car? Is this a desirable car. Don't hear much about the W32
Thanks for your help Ken |

Here's a convertible that was for sale at Barrett-Jackson this year: Oldsmobile 442 W32 convertible

Re: 1969 olds 442 W32
We were host to a gorgeous W32 convertible out of Canada when we had the W-Machines display at MCACN a couple years ago. Indeed, a rare breed!

Re: 1969 olds 442 W32
All W-Machines are desirable to some degree and with only 297 of all model W-32s built it is also a rare muscle car.
This was a 1969 only option , I would say that for 1969 the collect-ability of PRO Oldsmobile is like this. 1969 W-30 4 speed Convertible 1969 W-30 Automatic Convertible 1969 W-31 Convertible 1969 W-32 Convertible 1969 Hurst Olds 1969 W-30 Coupe 4 speed 1969 W-30 Coupe Auto 1969 W-31 Coupe 1969 W-32 Coupe |
Re: 1969 olds 442 W32

Re: 1969 olds 442 W32
If you look in the forums at the bottom in comments/suggestions there is a Picture Posting Tutorial.
Start at the end and work backwards there is old info at the beginning of that thread. Try hitting the fifth icon from the left, the red envelope with the blue arrow pointing up.....You can do it!! Yes "B" Pillar is a 2doorpost! Ryan |

Re: 1969 olds 442 W32
Interesting item on the Gm canada docs shows the dealer as Motors Insurance Corp, Annicis BC. That company is/Was a subsidary of GMAC and provided insurance claim services for Vehicles in transit. Annis BC is the Auto Port on Annacis Island in the center of the GReater Vancouver Area where all inbound new vehicles are received by rail,Ship and truck transport. Not sure why MIC would be shown as the dealer unless car was ordered by an MIC or GMAC rep or executive. Annis Auto Terminal have had a complete Dealer prep site for years as well as facilities for doing dealer conversions (accessories and T tops in the 80's. Must be an interesting back story here.
