...plus '67 Nova L79 production was only something like 6 units, less Acadians if any 67's even confirmed?
...and, Canadian Acadians/Beamonts etc are not Pontiacs, at least these years weren't and only the later Chevette based Acadians were actually Pontiacs.

All Chevy II and Acadian L79s came standard with a 3 speed standard on the column. Yes, there are some.
The 4 speed was an option. None of them had PGs. They were all 12 bolt.

I asked GM Canada many years ago about 1967 L79 Acadians. They have no record of any being built. There were 63 L79 Acadians built in 1966. There's also no record of any 1968-1970 big block Acadians being imported for sale in Canada. And you're right, 1962-1971 Acadians are not Pontiacs, even though GM Canada documents them as such. When the Acadian came out in 1962, all the Pontiac-Buick dealers in Canada got new signs saying Pontiac-Buick-Acadian. The Acadian was a stand alone model.

Was there a floor-shifted 3-speed available?

I know that Tom Migut once parted out a factory 1966 3-speed L-79 Chevy II. I believe it was a column shift 3-speed.

There was no 3 speed on the floor available in any 66/67 Chevy II or Acadian. The L79 had either the no extra cost
3 speed manual on the column or the optional 4 speed on the floor. The Super Sport 3 speed manual cars got the
bucket seats, but no console, mainly because there was never a cover plate designed to cover the floor
shifter hole. Same for the Acadian Sport Deluxe.

That sweet '66 Acadian L79 Post car we looked at a few years ago here was a 3-Tree car.

Yeah, all that car had for options was the L79 engine and a radio. Probably the only L79 Invader 2 door sedan in existence, but it was a tough sell. I'm sure if it had been a 4 speed it would have sold much more quickly.
