Pavillions 11092013-Motion Super Car Present!!!!!

Holly, Rick and I went to Pavillions today. We met up with Kevin DeWitte, Dave Oscher, Sizzler Wayne (it was his birthday today!), John Hill, Stan Harvell, Fred from Michigan, Fred K, Bill Pritchard showed up, too...and the rest of the Pavillions gang was there as well.

Shaun brought out a true Motion Supercar tonight-a 1969 Baldwin Motion Chevelle that a few of you may have been lucky to see in person. Today, we were privileged to see this piece of history!

Yeah, I was pondering the relative insanity of a brand new B-M Phase III 427 69 Chevelle flat towing a brand new B-M Phase III 427 69 Camaro! That car was absolutely outrageous, and Shaun certainly does some phenomenal restoration and detail work [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/worship.gif[/img]

That black 64 (?) Bonneville 4 door hardtop was a Brougham model....rare back in the day, even more rare these days.

Very nice to see so many friendly familiar faces there this evening. Twas a wee bit chilly heading home with the top down, but thankfully the heater still kicks out plenty of toasty warm air [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif[/img]

I know the Baldwin car pretty well. Spent the day parked near them at Dana Point concourse de elegance a few years ago. The motion car placed 1st in class, a bubble top 409 car placed 2nd and my old Roadrunner 3rd

The BW (Baldwin Motion) Black, Parchment, Trailer hitch, I am now freaking out. I will drool beside this car at MCACN............how many more sleeps???
