GT-37
There is a lot of misinformation on these cars. Have I cleared it up? I dunno, but I believe we're one step closer.

Re: GT-37
Very good read. I've long been fascinated by these and other non-mainstream muscle.

Re: GT-37
Great article & thanks for posting it - they are a very misunderstood car and rarely ever seen.
I love mine! https://www.yenko.net/attachments/use...0_18.52.39.jpg |

Great article as always Diego.
I'm kinda partial to this one (thx to Dave Dudek for the pic from the 2012 Martin FAST/Factory Stock race) http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d3...RTINBee086.jpg |

Re: GT-37
You are correct - that was a KS car.

I happened to see the post & thought I would share. I've been a member here for a few years, just don't post that often. |
Re: GT-37
Just one thing that was wrong with the article is that all GT's started as a V8 T-37 2 dr post ('70 only)or 2 dr ht. To be able to get the GT on any available V8 had to be ordered first. The V8 was NOT part of the GT package. I do have the advertisements and paperwork to prove it.
Again, sometimes, good intentions come up short. Not picking but do want corret information about these cars. If you want to know more about you can find me at Performance Years forums under my name: Jack Peters. I happen to be the owner of a '71 T-37, 2 dr sedan.(not a GT or HT) 455HO, 4 speed car. |
Re: GT-37
I think all these PY guys followed me here.
Do I get a commission for new members? |
Re: GT-37
Nah. Been a member here for years. 8 days before you joined. Just forgot to check here much. Been a year or so until the other day. The comission you get is a ........... Well you will get 'something'. LOL Hi, Steve.

Re: GT-37
Jack, I'm Diego on PY.
And while I can't remember for a moment what I wrote, I believe I posted a thread there while writing the article to see what the prevailing wisdom was from the Pontiac cognoscenti, and most people agreed that only the hardtop was built despite ads to the contrary. Again, I'm going from memory and not from what I believe to be factual. |
