I was there last night also.....Great turnout, ....I came in the GTO and was taunted into participating in an unsupervised tire smoking acceleration event in front of the gathering........But.....Being the model Law abiding citizen that I am........I just idled away...... Love those old Javelins/AMXs. Back in the early 80s a good friend had a 1971 or 1972 AMX that was white with a gold hood stripe. Pierre Cardin interior, 401 with a 4 speed. He also installed chrome sidepipes. I miss that car. It was a lot of fun.
A cousin of mine had a Gremlin with the Levis interior in the 70s. |
