Just got a note from Jeff Wilhelmi of Performance Years announcing the upcoming release of the Fred Gibb #1 ZL-1 Camaro Diecast.

ZL-1 #1

Very cool piece that's been a long time coming. And as an added bonus check out our newest member list on the right of the screen today. One of the newest members on the board is Mr. Ray Sullins, former pilot of that particular car.

I was thinking maybe Howie would ask Bill to sign it. Tell ya what Howie, if you get all the autographs you want on the model, send it up and I'll get a shot of it with the car. It's only about 10 minutes away.

I'm sorry. Model car that Kim's going to collect autographs on. Not a female model.
We had to let Latisha go. Mitch was never happy with her hangin around the shop. He's just not much of a diversity kind of guy, so we've turned over to Gretchen and he seems much happier.

My car arrived yesterday. WOW, what a cool piece! WELL worth the wait.

Some of my friends saw it tonite and just placed their orders for more. If you're even remotely interested in these cars, you better jump now. They won't last long!

I got the Red Car for myself but then ordered the pair for a friend. Jeff shipped all three to me so I got to see them first. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/wink.gif[/img]
Personal opinion; they look better than the photos posted here earlier. The &quot;Silver Leaf&quot; on the rear quarters is very accurate and the Gibb Shield on the door just POPS!
Good job on recreating the lace too. Overall I'd have to give it [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif[/img] [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif[/img]
I'm hustling to get ready for Monmouth/LaHarpe this weekend but I'll try to get it out of the box for some pix tonite.

-----Dont worry, Charley.... It just takes a bit longer to get stuff out to the left coast. I got mine today and love it. Going to do some sort of diorama along with a Red Alert model as Porterfield and I raced at Milan way back and guess who came out on top (one guess). OK, OK, He broke, but I still got thru the traps first.......Bill S
