2010 MCACN`s 1969 Chevelle Display
I am currently organizing another awesome 1969 Chevelle Display at this years Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals held at Donaold E. Stephens Convention Center on November 20th and 21st. I am looking forward to seeng my old friends and meeting new friends. See you all in November.
I am currently looking for one more candidate to fill my 12 car field. Once again, Dan has stepped to the window to organize an outstanding display.
It may look easy, but it takes a lot of legwork, phone calls, e-mails and much more to make a display of this quality happen. Just ask any of the guys who have done it! lol Many THANKS to Dan, and also to our Western Buddies for coordinating the Desert Classics group, to The Mayor for rounding up the Deuces, to Rick for inviting some great '70 Chevelles and of course, to Tom and the entire Clary family for once again hosting our sYc Super Car and Members showcases. Today I confirmed the last 1969 Chevelle entering my display....The Chevelle belongs to Brad and Jared Hausfeld. There Chevelle is a 1969 Cortez Silver COPO!

The Hausfeild COPO registered at SCR, and when Dan had an open spot to make it an even dozen, he extended the invite to them to slide into this incredible display. ----I know it wouldnt be in the show if it wasnt a spectacular 69 but how did the one car get around the "heater/defroster" necessity? Oh,,,And which 69 is it? I have been under the general idea that you just couldnt get a heater/defroster delete in 69, but am old enough to know that its a never say never type of thing with GM. Just would love to get the skinny on how this edict (I thought) was circumvented.......Bill S |

Wow! What a Show! I wanted to personally thank Bob and Vickie, the entire staff and the rest of the owners of MCACN`s for hosting the Best Muscle Car Show on our Planet!
I also want to thank my Family of `69 Chevelle owners that I was in contact with... the last past year in making this event possible. It was a pleasure working with all of you and developing strong new friendships with all of you. My camera battery died along the way, so sorry if I did not get to take a picture of everyone. Stephano Bimbe`s Nickey Continuation #001 Chevelle. Stephano really stepped up to the plate to help bring this spectacular Chevelle to the show. This Chevelle also scored a Gold Concourse "Day Two" award.

Dan sure knows how to set up a display. His tireless efforts to get these cars signed on as part of it, but also the work he personally did to prep more than one of them for showing.

Thanks Dan for not only making the move in painless but also taking the time to be there early and late to make sure the display was represented. I also want to thank you for helping get Wheelhops and mine ready for the show. It was a Muscle car overload and great friendships weekend!
