Bill Jenkins has suffered a serious health incident..

Just talked to the guys in his shop, still not awake from a operation on his brain. To much blood on his brain.Let's hope for the best and keep him in our prayers.

I saw where he is out of surgery and back in his room. I hope he recovers quickly and gets well soon.

Update, via email list.

Bill Jenkins has been in the hospital. He did have an operation to drain excess blood from his brain. Even though the technology is amazing and the success rate impressive, the first 24 hours following this surgery are dicey. He's through that and back in his room. Therapy will start soon. Recovery is a process and let us pray he travels that road as he traveled the quarter-mile, a winner!

I'm originally from that area, and I would guess Bryn Mawr which is a very nice hospital and less than 5 miles or possibly Paoli hosp.

<span style="font-style: italic">I recently received a phone call from Polly. Mrs. Bill Jenkins. She filled me in on Grump's odyssey through the health care system. Polly would like me to dispel any rumors regarding Grump's health.

Yes, Grump is in the hospital receiving care for bleeding on his brain. He has had an operation to relieve the pressure on the brain and is now recuperating. Grump has weathered the storm and is concentrating his efforts on rehabilitation. His prognosis is excellent. Grump is alert and doing well.

Polly will update Grump's condition periodically.

Please keep Grump and Polly in your thoughts.

he was at my home some in the mid 80's looking at my Z16 I had for sale at the time... he WAS grumpy lol
