---Something different---
-----I know this is way off the beaten track, but Im trying to find the appropriate way to market some WW2 Japanese battleship binoculars. They are big at 27 inches tip to tip. There are other pieces that come with them. I have been all over the internet and just havent found anyone to give me even a good value. Whos into WW2 collectable stuff on here???........Bill S

Too bad you weren't closer to Las Vagas..the Pawn Stars would likely make you an offer albiet low ball. Number one son there seems to be a military collector...Good luck, sounds like an interesting piece.

Love to see a pic of these Jap binocs also the bayonette!. ~ Pete |
Re: ---Something different---
When my dad passed away, he wanted me to have his WWII items (and since he and I were WW2 buffs, this meant a lot to me). Anyway, I have a Japanese officer's pistol, rifle w/bayonet, officer's sword, Japanese flag, my dad's old WW2 uniform, and an old Japanese radio box, everything is in mint condition. My dad was in Douglas MacArthur's Honor Guard in late 1945, and he was one of the 2 soldiers that guarded the palace that Big Mac occupied just after the end of the war.
