67 Firebird LH traction bracket
1 Attachment(s)
Wanting to purchase the driver's side floor plate spot welded to the body (example as shown in attached picture) and the corresponding bracket which bolts to the two studs which protrude through the bottom of the floor. These are usually found on 400 Firebirds or some 326 4-speed cars. Thank you.

Re: 67 Firebird LH traction bracket
I did not know either until I parted a 67 400-4spd bird. The bars are like little I-beams too..not round or square.Seems like they would hook up....and probably rarer than a 67 camaro traction bar rear

Thanks, -Jon |

Re: 67 Firebird LH traction bracket
The 9789807 is the driver's side one and the 9789807 is for the passenger side. Can you make out another number on your bracket at the end?
What I am looking for is the floor plate that gets spot welded into the inside of the car on the driver's side and has the two studs that protrude through underneath. I am also looking for the corresponding bracket which bolts up to the driver's side floor bracket from underneath. -Jon |
Re: 67 Firebird LH traction bracket

Re: 67 Firebird LH traction bracket
Kim,
Sorry. I meant to type 9789808 is for the passenger side. Thanks for taking another look at yours. -Jon |
Re: 67 Firebird LH traction bracket
Is that the same floor plate that is in a 67 camaro.
|
Re: 67 Firebird LH traction bracket
The RH floor plate is the same design in a '67 Camaro and a Firebird. The LH floor plate was only available as original equipment in some models of the Firebird.
