Cole's new ride
okay, after last years CVF at Rosemont, my youngest son Cole had such a good time and saw all the attention we received, he asked if i would build him his own yenko dragster. so i found him one in NY, went out and picked it up. it had a vinyl wrap on it, (which was pink and purple) and for obvious reasons it was removed. i aked him what his favorite color was and he said orange. now were talkin'....it wasnt too long after i had it removed, i was contacted by none other than "the Mayor" himself, telling me that he had heard me talking about doing a Yenko Duece themed car and if i needed any help with it that he would be available to do so. well, theres a no brainer, so off to Donahue it went. it is now almost done and i cant wait to show off the progress pics with everyone here.i was going to wait until it was done but i cant. so here is what i started with and what Ken,Joe and another guy that "gets it" has come up with. needless to say........im speechless. Mr. Cumby and Mr. Nelson stopped by Monday to take measurements for the car. We had a nice visit. Hopefully they made it home in a timley fashion. They had to go by Daisy Dooks, and I think Monday is jello wrestling night. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif

Without the help of Mr. Cumby, this project would have been much harder, if not impossible. His help, and expertise in designing the stripes, and cutting them, along with all the other things he makes, is invaluable. me and dominic went today to pick up the car and let me tell you.......it looks 10 times nicer in person and even nicer in the sun !! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif like i said before, i cant thank these guys enough. cole still has yet to see it. ( he's with my mom ) i have it sitting smack dab in the middle of the garage waiting for him to see. im sure he will love it. i know i do !! my goal now is to get it finished up here in the next month or so to get him ready for some passes going head to head against dominic at the reunion. i wonder if mark hassett is bringing his H.O.
