1967 Camaro jack staff dating
1 Attachment(s)
I'm just getting ready to send parts out for plating, and I noticed that this jack staff is dated. Looks like 5 11 67 which would make sense for an 05D car. I don't generally work on 67 Camaros - anyone know if this is common?

A corresponding indicator is the Mechanism date.
This is a square base R&H jack. Universal jacks are dated on the rivet.
Have not seen that. Is it from a NOR or VN car?
My Norwood-built June 67 Z28 had a May-dated shaft just like yours.
Mine was a Norwood build as well.

Yes - unless I missed it, no dating (like mine) of masts. Mine has the patent numbers also.
Post 87 is the only guy who mentions a pat. number but it's a trapazoid type, not square. My LA car has a square mast but not dated like yours. Interesting....Joe
Seems unusual for a 67 NOR Camaro to have a square mast. Kind of like seeing a LOS with a trapezoidal mast.
Mine is square Base (which is correct), but trapezoid staff.
Wow, didn't even know that was possible.
I think we’re talking about 2 different things. The shape of the outside perimeter of the base (not the engagement hole in the center) is square as opposed to the more frequently seen rectangular shape. The center engagement hole is trapezoidal.
Do you have a photo of the base? I'd like to add the photo to my data. You can text it if that's easier. Thanks!
